ABOUT
MEET LYnsey
Hello and welcome, I'm Lynsey, I live in Belgium with my husband and our little boy, in a house close to the forest. We met on a three-week road trip through the USA, and travelling has been part of my drawing ever since, from Japan to Indonesia. At home you'll find me hiking in the forest, in the garden, or with a cup of tea. I draw the little stories of my life, and drawing them slows me down and helps me live more intently.
I'm drawn to vintage and historical patterns and to moody, muted colour. I picture my patterns in a classic or country house, next to wood: a wallpaper in a powder room, curtains, a tablecloth, a drawer lined with paper, a notebook. I'm studying historical pattern in depth this autumn, and I bring what I learn into my collections.
I hope my patterns become a small part of someone else's memories, and help make a house feel like home.
